I’m pleased to unveil my latest piece, titled Moss and Stone in Quiet Harmony. This ring features a large, teardrop-shaped boulder opal set vertically at its center, revealing layers of green, brown, and purple tones beneath a polished surface. The textured sterling silver band carries an intentionally hammered finish, providing an organic backdrop that enhances the stone’s natural depth. Below the main opal, I set three tsavorite garnets in a triangular pattern to introduce a vivid contrast of green that complements the earthy palette without overpowering it. The design came from a desire to explore the balance between raw textures and refined form, creating a bold statement that remains deeply connected to natural elements. Working with the unique surface qualities of the opal alongside the vibrant garnets presented a rewarding challenge in harmonizing color, texture, and structure into a cohesive piece.
