This piece explores the interplay between texture and color through elongated, wavy forms crafted from sterling silver with a hammered finish. Each earring features two carefully placed garnet stones—deep red gems that provide a striking contrast against the matte silver surface. The design emphasizes balance and movement, with the stones set at different points along the curves to create a sense of dynamic flow. Working with the hammered texture challenged me to maintain fluidity in the metal while highlighting the smooth, rich tones of the garnets.
